Year End Holiday Giving: Thank You!

Dear Friends,
There is no question that 2020 has been our most challenging year to date at Restoring Hope Transplant House with the endless layers of a global pandemic impacting our work at every turn.  Yet here we stand in mid-November with our doors still open to any of our families in need of essential hospital care and working hard each and every day for the exciting plans we have for the future.

How blessed we are to still be doing what we passionately love to do while so many others have lost those opportunities in the face of overwhelming obstacles.  That is a credit to you…our transplant families, our loyal supporters, our compassionate believers.  During the worst pandemic of our lifetime, we have collectively found a way to scratch and claw our way through all of the financial losses of 2020 so that we can focus on doing what we do best.

As many of you know, one of our best friends here at RHTH passed away a week ago at the hospital from cancer related challenges.  His grieving wife is still with us today at RHTH surrounded by a community of support and love.  It is a constant reminder that no matter how this pandemic impacts our daily lives that what we do is important.  What we do matters.  What we do really does make a difference for the people who call Restoring Hope home.

As a non-profit, there’s no secret that year end holiday giving is incredibly important for the success of any charitable cause.  We also understand that 2020 has been the hardest year financially for the vast majority of our families, friends and supporters which makes creating posts like this no fun whatsoever for me personally.  We get your daily struggles, feel your constant sacrifices and understand the anxieties of trying to make ends meet.  I also know of your love for this house and the love you share for the people you shared it with.  If some way…some how you still have the means to support a charitable cause during this holiday season of year end giving, I hope you will consider making a donation to support the work we do here at RHTH.  With love to you all!
