We appreciate the kind words from one of our guests who recently headed home after spending 44 nights with us. They may also be the first husband-wife team we have had that have both received an organ transplant. You came as complete strangers and left as dear friends. All the bests to you and all of our families that call RHTH home!
Local chapters of Beta Sigma Phi, an international women’s organization, recently met and held a citywide social and fund raiser for Restoring Hope Transplant House. Thanks to a gift auction, they raised $648 in under an hour! Thank you all for your continued support of RHTH.
If you would like further information about Beta Sigma Phi, please email [email protected]. A spaghetti dinner in Monroe on February 21st will celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Harris Gempler's Memorial Dinner and proceeds will go to Restoring Hope Transplant House. We are grateful to all of the event organizers and sponsors for making this event possible and hope that some of our transplant families in that area will be able to attend. Fundraisers like these are so critical for us to continue keeping the doors open here at RHTH.
Check the above flyer for more event info and to see how you can get involved as an event sponsor! Virginia became our 26th different state from which we have hosted a transplant family yesterday as we welcomed a wonderful young lady from Chesapeake. Thanks to all the great families from all across Wisconsin and beyond that have called RHTH their home away from home while in search of a second chance at life through the miracle of transplantation!
