What a nice surprise to receive an email from Holly and Lindsay the other day saying that they wanted to donate the proceeds from the upcoming 3rd Annual Steve Muenchow Memorial Golf Outing on September 30th to support Restoring Hope Transplant House. “We love what your organization stands for and we love what you do for the patients and their families,” they said in their email.
Holly and Lindsay’s Father Steve was a two time kidney transplant recipient at UW Hospital. He passed away two years ago but his journey helped to inspire his daughters to create an organization called Live. Love. Donate. They hold this memorial golf outing in his memory each year which helps to raise funds for worthy causes and also draws awareness for organ and tissue donors. We are so grateful that they have chosen Restoring Hope Transplant House as their charity of choice for such a special event. More importantly, we would like to thank them for all they continue to do to support the transplant community and our visiting transplant families.
