We were very grateful for opportunity to attend the 37th Annual District 27-A1 Lions Club Convention this past weekend at the Grand Geneva, in Lake Geneva Wisconsin.
Peter, Joanne and Executive Director Cindy Herbst shared information about Restoring Hope Transplant House with attendees at our booth. One of our amazing guests, Barb from Elkhorn, WI, even came to help us with our presentation. Barb truly spoke to everyone's heart as she shared her story as a caregiver for her daughter Emily, a transplant patient.
The Wisconsin Lions have been so supportive of RHTH. Peter and Joanne Cerniglia have tirelessly championed this Home for years and are so very dear to us and the families we serve. They, coupled with the Middleton Lions, this district and Lions/Lioness/Leos Clubs statewide, have been so strong helping to get our doors open, keep them open and move closer to expansion and renovations to make this house even more like home in the future. We cannot thank you all enough.
