Also appreciate International Director Mark Lyon for his interest in the house and for all their support. It really meant a lot to visit with you all up in Fond Du Lac.
We really appreciate our kidney transplant friend John Brockington stopping by Restoring Hope Transplant House today with his donor wife Diane. Nice of them to visit and film this quick message. Enjoy your weekend in Madison guys...thanks for cheering on our Badgers!
Donation Days of Thanksgiving: During this festive month of giving thanks, we look back to some of the great moments and incredible friends from 2019. Our pancreas recipient friend Jennifer from Kenosha has gotten her life back after many years of diabetes related struggles. She was kind enough to share her story during her time here at the start of the year.
January featured some guests who have never been better after transplant, some people who overcame some major hurdles and some very dear friends that we lost. They all contributed in their own ways to the incredible community of healing that happens at this house. I can't help but get emotional looking back at all the photos from that chilly month. It was our busiest January ever and we definitely leaned on each other throughout during some very challenging days. Appreciate our transplant and Lions Club friend David Stedman making the trip with us. David stayed at RHTH while his wife Cheryl was having a kidney transplant years ago. What a wonderful, emotional and very powerful gathering as we currently have guests from that area who have become like family!❤️

https://conta.cc/2nb1pJB Heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped to make our first ever Restoring Hope Transplant House Family Reunion such a wonderful day. What an honor it was to host and witness the first meeting between one of our RHTH organ recipient families and the mother of her incredible donor. Such an emotional moment between two ladies that will share a special bond for life! How wonderful it was to see so many of our transplant families that day at nearby Capital Brewery in Middleton. To share old stories, big hugs and lots of laughs made it a truly great day. We cannot thank our friend David Stedman and the Main Street Big Band enough for their incredible performance that day. It really meant a lot to us to have a dear transplant family and Lions Club friend and his band there with us and what a talented group they are. We received so many kind words about their band. Thanks also to Capital Brewery for being such a great host and welcoming venue just down the street. Grateful to our Lions Club friends who came out and had a great time while running the 50/50 raffle. Also appreciate those who helped volunteer and organize this event as well as our generous sponsors listed below. With this years overwhelming success, we hope to turn this into an annual gathering...thanks be to you all! With thanks to our Reunion Sponsors for making this great day possible!
