Restoring Hope Transplant House recently had the great pleasure of partnering with the Rock River Valley Blood Center and the National Marrow Donor Program to bring their "Thanks Mom" Marrow Donor Drive to the Dane County area. more

During a typical day at the hospital, I care for dozens of people who either await transplantation or who have already received their gift of life. Between my time in the transplant clinic and operating room, I’m often struck by how dedicated these people are in their efforts to live normal, healthy, productive lives. Most of them have been sick for a very long time; some have had their lives turned upside down by a sudden, devastating diagnosis. more

As the Secretary of the Board of Directors for Restoring Hope Transplant House, I have been involved in the project since the concept was first shared. When Cindy approached me about the idea of the Transplant House I was working as the Program Director of the Bone Marrow Transplant Program and I jumped at the idea of having such wonderful support for our patients. more
